I'm a native of Camotes Island. I'm so glad to visit this site from you.I admire your effort of promoting the ECO-TOURISM of our Virgin Island. Its been a long time that I wasn't able to visit the island since I joined a missionary congregation. But, I'm encouraging all people both local and foreign tourist to come and visit our beautiful island. You would never regret after all...Its a paradise... an image of what heaven would be I support you cause Ming and I'm encouraging everyone to support Ming in her cause of preserving and promoting our Island.Hope to meet u one day,coz Im not that sure if ur really from our Island.Good Luck.Thanks!

HI Ming,
Good day.
we would like to have a family tour togher with my grandparents this coming October2008. Camotes Island was their place of origin and I would love to show their island once again.
Do you know about Pag-sa place or now they call Pag-asa? thats the place where my great grandparents are from.

I would like to ask some questions about Camotes.Were planning to have a 3Days vacation.How to go to camotes island from Cebu Airport?How many hours travel?What vehicle to ride from the airport?if ferry boat or bus what are the schedules?Pls suggest itinerary since we also want to have a day tour on cebu city.

Hi Ming,
Good day to you, i like the web about Camotes Island, we're going home by Sept. and we're planning to visit Camotes any suggestions where to stay? It will be me, my husband a 1yo baby and my sister, my hubby haven't been to the PI yet so this will be his ist time, i'd love to go to Camotes and explore the island esp. the resorts/beaches there. BTW we'll be staying in Biliran Province northern part of Leyt near Ormoc, but we'll be going to Cebu too... appreciate ur input. Thanks and tker! More power to you and keep up the good work.

Kumusta Ming! First, let me say congrats on such a nice site, and for your stance on eco-tourism! I am a Military retiree who spent a total of 11 years in the Philippines. I am planning on retiring in the Philippines in the near future. I love your country for it's natural beauty, and the hospitality of the Filipino people, and not for the large resort hotels and resorts. The info you provide on the Camotes Islands is on track, with what I am looking for in a retirement location. Let's hope and pray that any future development will stay ECO-Friendly.
